LAUKI DAL
INGREDIENTS
Arhar dal : 1 cup
Salt : 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
Lauki : 250 grams
Red dry chily : 4-5 pieces
Black cumin seeds : 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves : 1/2 bowl
PREPARATION
• Wash the dal properly
• Pour dal , lauki, salt and turmeric powder in pressure cooker and boil it with 2-3 whistle
• Heat 2-3 tsp of ghee in a kadai
• Add black cumin seeds and red dry chilly and wait for few seconds till it sizzle
• Pour the dal in kadai and stir it for 5-10 minutes
• Add coriander leaves and then stir it again
• Serve it hot with plain rice

ei dal ta PoDe ekhuni BaDi jete ichhe korchhe..I have located a bangla deshi shop, where all ingredients including Lau, jhinge, uchhe, vendi , chhoto machh available. But cant start cooking , becuae my stay here is extended week by week..even cant plan a weekend trip to near by towns..birokto lagchhe

ReplyDeleteजानती हैं बबली जी, मेरी सास जी ने कई बार लौकी-दाल बनवाई, लेकिन जब भी ये दाल बनी मेरा मन ही नहीं हुआ खाने का, लेकिन आज आपकी रेसिपी और उससे बढकर तस्वीर देख के तो इसे खाने का मन हो आया है.
