BANANA KOFTA CURRY



































































































































INGREDIENTS

Raw banana : 2 pieces
Potato : 2-3 pieces (medium size)
Tomatoes : 1-2 pieces (medium size)
Cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp
Salt : 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Gram flour : 3-4 tsp
Cumin powder : 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder : 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder : 6-8 pieces
Bay leaf : 2-3 pieces
Garam masala : 1/4 tsp
Ghee : 1/2 tsp


PREPARATION

• Boil bananas and potatoes
• Cut potatoes into small pieces and keep it separately
• Peel the bananas and mash it well
• Add chilly powder, salt, gram flour and turmeric powder and mix it well
• Make it like a ball shape
• Heat 10-12 tsp of oil in a kadai
• Deep fry the banana balls in oil until golden brown and keep aside
• Pour bay leaf and cumin seeds and wait for few seconds till it sizzle
• Pour potatoes and fry it well
• Add turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder and mix it well
• Add tomatoes and stir it nicely for 10-15 minutes
• Add little water and cover the kadai for 5-10 minutes
• Remove the cover of the pan and pour banana balls in it
• Stir it slowly for 5-10 minutes
• Scatter garam masala and ghee
• Serve it hot with rice/chapati
