CHILLY & ONION PAKORA














































































INGREDIENTS

Green chilly : 8-10 pieces (big size)
Onion : 3-4 pieces (medium size)
Salt : 1 tsp (as per taste)
Chat masala : 1/2 tsp
Gram flour (besan) : 1/2 bowl (small size)
Corn flour : 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder : 1/2 tsp
Black cumin seeds : 1/4 tsp


PREPARATION

• Cut onion in round shape and keep the onion and green chilly aside
• Pour gram flour in a bowl and add half cup of water
• Add black cumin seeds, chilly powder, corn flour, chat masala and salt and mix it properly
• Heat 12-14 tsp of oil in a kadai
• Dip the chilly in the bowl of gram flour so that it gets fully covered
• Pour the chilly on kadai
• Take the round shape onions and dip in the bowl of gram flour
• Pour the onion on kadai and stir it nicely
• Let the chilly and onion be brown in colour by turning both the sides
• Serve it hot with tea

    Great reminder for a rainy evening..as soon as kakima leaves for her clinic I shall fry few and eat. Try to add bit of suji in the mix, it will be quite crispy.
