SWADISHT TOOR DAL
INGREDIENTS
Toor dal : 1 cup
Mustard : 1/4 tsp
Ghee : 2-3 tsp
Salt : 1/2 tsp (As per taste)
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
Tomato : 1 (medium size – finely chopped)
Green chilly : 2-3 pieces
PREPARATION
• Pour toor dal in pressure cooker
• Add 3-4 cups of water
• Add salt, turmeric powder, green chilly and tomato
• Close the cooker and put on high flame
• Wait till 2-3 whistle and then open the cooker
• Heat 2-3 tsp of ghee in a kadai
• Add mustard and wait for few seconds till it sizzle
• Pour toor dal in the kadai
• Stir for few minutes
• Serve it hot with chapatti or plain rice

Hi Babli, First time here and just fell in love with the simplicity of your blog. I also make it in the same way the only difference is that i put a pinch of Hing (asafoetida)also in tadka.
