LAZEEZ UPMA
INGREDIENTS
Rawa : 1 cup
Chana dal : 1 tsp
Mustard : 1/4 tsp
Cauliflower : 1/2 bowl (small size)
Carrot : 1/2 bowl (small size)
Onion : 1 piece (medium size – finely chopped)
Ghee : 2 tsp
Green chilly : 5-6 pieces (finely chopped)
Salt : 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves : 10-12 pieces
Ghee : 2tsp
PREPARATION
• Fry rawa in a pan without oil for few minutes
• Keep rawa in a bowl
• Cut cauliflower and carrot into small pieces
• Heat 2 tsp of ghee in a pan
• Pour chana dal and mustard and wait for few seconds till it sizzle
• Add onions and curry leaves then fry it for 5-10 minutes till it becomes golden brown
• Add cauliflower and carrot and stir it for 10-15 minutes till it becomes tender
• Add green chilly and salt and mix it well
• Add rawa and stir it properly
• Pour 1/2 cup of water, mix it and cover the pan for 5-10 minutes
• Open the lid and stir it for few minutes
• Serve it with tea
