JEERA ALOO


INGREDIENTS

Potato : 4 pieces (medium size)
Green chilly : 4-6 pieces
Black cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp
Salt : 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp


PREPARATION

• Clean potatoes properly
• Cur potatoes into small pieces
• Pour 4-5 tsp of oil in a pan
• When oil gets heated, pour black cumin seeds
• Wait for 2-3 seconds till it sizzle
• Pour potatoes in the pan and fry it for 10-15 minutes till it becomes brown in colour
• Add green chilies, salt and turmeric powder
• Stir it properly again for 2-3 minutes
• Cover the pan in low flame for 5 minutes till the potatoes becomes soft
• Serve it hot with white rice with dal / chapati
