GOBHI-DE-RICE

































































INGREDIENTS

Cauliflower : 1 piece (medium size)
Potato : 2-3 pieces (medium size)
Cumin seeds : 1/4 tsp
Bay leaf : 2-3 pieces
Salt : 1/2 tsp (As per taste)
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder : 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder : 1/4 tsp
Ginger paste : 1/2 tsp
Tomato : 3-4 pieces (medium size)
Rice : 1/2 cup
Chilly powder : 1/4 tsp

Green chilly : 3-4 pieces
Garam masala : 1/4 tsp



PREPARATION

• Cut cauliflower and potato into small pieces
• Heat 8-10 tsp of oil in a kadai
• Add cumin seeds and bay leaf then wait for few seconds till it sizzle
• Pour cauliflower and potato
• Add salt, turmeric powder, green chilly, cumin powder, coriander powder and chilly powder
• Stir it for 10-15 minutes so that the spices gets mixed properly
• Pour rice and chopped tomatoes and stir it again for 5-10 minutes
• Add ginger paste and mix it well
• Pour 1 cup of water
• Cover the pan for 10-15 minutes till the potato becomes tender and rice gets boil
• Remove the cover of the pan and scatter garam masala on it
• Serve it hot with roti/chapati
