PARATHA WITH SPINACH

INGREDIENTS

Methi leaves : 1/2 kilo
Wheat flour (Maida) : 1/2 kilo
Ginger : 1 tsp
Green chilly : 5-6 pieces
Salt : 1/2 tsp
Sunflower oil : 2-3 tsp

PREPARATION

• Wash methi leaves properly
• Cut methi leaves, ginger and green chilly into small pieces
• Take a wide mouthed container and put wheat flour (maida), salt (as per taste), sunflower oil, methi leaves, ginger and green chilly
• Add little water in the mixture and mix it well
• Make a ball of dough slightly thicker than chapati/roti and roll it a little
• Flatten these balls and roll it nicely like chapatis/rotis
• Keep the pan on low flame and place the methi paratha on it
• When one side of the paratha becomes brown, flip on the other side
• When both sides are done then apply oil on both sides
• Serve hot methi parathas with pickle
