CRAB MASALA
INGREDIENTS
Crab : 1/2 kilo
Salt : 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
Bay leaf : 2-3 pieces
Onion : 4-5 pieces (fine paste)
Garlic paste : 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste : 1/2 tsp
Tomato : 3-4 pieces (medium size - finely chopped)
Chilly powder : 1/4 tsp
Garam masala : 1/4 tsp
Ghee : 1/2 tsp
PREPARATION
• Grind onion, garlic and ginger in mixy and keep the paste aside
• Heat 8-10 tsp of oil in a kadai
• Pour onion, garlic and ginger paste and stir it for 10-15 minutes
• Add salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, bay leaf and tomato
• Stir it again for 10-15 minutes
• Pour crab and stir it for 5-10 minutes so that the spices gets mixed properly
• Pour 1 cup of water
• Cover the pan for 10-15 minutes till the crab becomes tender
• Remove the cover of the pan and scatter garam masala and ghee on it
• Serve it hot with plain rice
