SPICY FISH CUTLET



































































INGREDIENTS

Fish : 1/2 kilo
Salt : 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Onion : 3-4 pieces (medium size)
Ginger paste : 1/2 tsp
Lemon : 1 piece
Green chilly : 4-5 pieces (finely chopped)
Egg : 2 pieces
Biscuit powder/puffed rice : 1 bowl


PREPARATION

• Cut the fish into small pieces
• Grind the onion and ginger in mixy
• Marinate the fish with onion paste, ginger paste, salt and lemon juice
• Keep the marinated fish aside for 2-3 hours
• Take eggs in a bowl and add salt and green chilly
• Batter it nicely and keep it separately
• Grind biscuit (rusk) / puffed rice and make it powder
• Keep the biscuit/puffed rice powder in a plate
• Roll the fish pieces properly on both sides in biscuit/puffed rice powder
• Heat 8-10 tsp of oil in a pan
• Fry the fish pieces in a pan nicely till it becomes brown in colour
• Serve it hot with dal and rice

    Great one indeed, followed by that great khichudi...I have located a bangladeshi shop where I can get mung dal...Now I have shifted to an apt with a kitchen counter, still unfit for cooking though ..
    Nice fish fillet are avialable so one fine night I am going to eta khichudi and this fish cutlet ...ha ha
