PANEER PULAO
































































INGREDIENTS

Basmati rice : 1 cup
Ghee : 2 tsp
Green peas : 1/2 cup
Cauliflower : 6-8 pieces (small size)
Paneer cubes : 200 gram
Salt : 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Sugar : 1/2 tsp
Green chilly : 3-4 pieces
Cumin seeds : 1/4 tsp
Onion : 1/2 bowl (small size – finely chopped)
Ginger : 1/2 tsp (finely chopped)
Garlic : 1/2 tsp (finely chopped)
Black pepper : 5-6 pieces
Bay leaf : 2-3 pieces
Cloves : 6-8 pieces
Cardamom : 6-8 pieces
Cinnamon : 1 inch piece
Cashew nut : 6-8 pieces



PREPARATION


• Wash the rice and let the water gets drained off
• Cut the paneer in small square pieces
• Heat 5-6 tsp of oil in a pan and fry the paneer pieces till it becomes golden brown
• In the rice cooker pour little oil, onions, ginger, garlic, bay leaf, black pepper, cumin seeds, green chilly, sugar and salt and mix well
• Turn on the rice cooker and cook for 2-3 minutes
• Add the rice and cauliflower and mix it properly with the fried onions
• Pour in 4 cups of water
• Cook for about 15 minutes
• Add the peas, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon and cook again for 2-3 minutes till the rice is cooked well
• Add the paneer and cook for 4-5 minutes more
• Scatter ghee on rice and garnish with cashew nut
• Serve hot with dal or curry
