GAJAR KA HALWA



















































































































INGREDIENTS

Carrot : 2-3 pieces (1 bowl – shredded)
Milk : 2 cups
Butter : 3 tsp
Cardamom : 6-8 pieces
Clove powder : 1/2 tsp
Sugar : 6-8 tsp
Cashew nuts : 10-12 pieces


PREPARATION

• Keep the shredded carrots aside
• Boil the milk on medium-high heat until it is reduced to 1 cup
• Melt the butter in a frying pan on medium heat
• Add the shredded carrots and stir it for 10-15 minutes
• Carrots should be tender and will become brown in color
• Add cardamom and clove powder and stir it well
• Add sugar and stir it for 5-10 minutes
• Add the milk and cook until the milk dries
• Garnish with cashew nuts
